Subject: Amendment to Subsidiary Rule 452 under the Odisha Treasury Rules of the Odisha Treasury Code, Volume-I

🔍 Summary of Amendment

• Withdrawals must be made via cheques signed by the designated fund administrator.
• For Panchayat Samiti withdrawals over ₹10 lakh, cheques require joint signatures from the Chairman and Block Development Officer (BDO).
• If the Chairman’s office is vacant, the Vice-Chairman or a nominated member will co-sign with the BDO.
• The amendment takes effect upon publication in the Odisha Gazette.

The notification has been circulated to all relevant treasury offices and administrative units for implementation.
