Subject: Authorization Requirement for Inter-Sector Shifting (ISS) and Exit Requests under NPS
📘 Impact on Odisha Government Employees- New Rule: All ISS and exit requests must be authorized by the Source Nodal Office before submission to CRA.
- Who Is Affected: All government sector NPS subscribers — including those shifting between departments or exiting the scheme.
- Why It Matters: Without proper authorization, requests will be rejected, delaying pension transitions.
- Action Required: Employees must contact their original NPS nodal office for verification and approval before initiating any request.
