Registration of Part Plots – Odisha (October 2025)

Subject: SOP for Registration of Part Plots

📘 Key Guidelines
  • Ownership Verification: Mutation and RoR must reflect clear ownership and boundaries.
  • Demarcation: Physical demarcation verified by Revenue Inspector or Tahasildar is mandatory.
  • GIS Mapping: Part plot boundaries must be digitally mapped to prevent disputes.
  • Digital Entry: Registration must be recorded in e-District and linked to Bhulekh and LRMS.
  • Document Checklist: RoR, mutation order, sketch map, demarcation certificate, Aadhaar, PAN.
  • Approval: Sub-Registrar must verify boundary integrity before final registration.

This SOP aims to streamline land registration, reduce disputes, and ensure transparency in part plot transactions across Odisha.
