Important Directives in the O.M.
- Asset & Staff Transfer: Chief Postmaster General (CPMG) to manage shifting of assets, staff, and records in consultation with Postmaster Generals.
- Redeployment Rules: Group 'B' and 'C' staff redeployment to be done based on willingness/request to minimize financial burden.
- Group 'A' Officers: Separate orders for redeployment will be issued by the Postal Directorate.
- Interim Arrangement: Newly created units will function via local arrangement/additional charge until posts are redeployed.
- Budget: Expenditure to be met from existing budgetary resources for the current financial year.
- Performance Review: Financial and workload performance of new/bifurcated units to be reviewed after one year (ECR).
- Implementation: CPMG to issue necessary orders and furnish an Action Taken Report (ATR) to the Directorate.
