How is DA Arrear Calculated for Odisha Govt Employees & Pensioners?
Dearness Allowance (DA) is calculated only on your Basic Pay (for serving employees) or Basic Pension (for pensioners). It does not include HRA, TA, or any other allowances. When the DA rate is revised (recent hike from 55% to 58% w.e.f. 01.07.2025), the difference is multiplied by your basic pay/pension and then by the number of months for which arrears are due. This calculator does all the complex calculations instantly and shows you the total arrears payable.
