GAPG Department Resolution No.26993 dated 12.09.2024 -guidelines relating to engagement of retired Government Servant

Even after retirement of Government Servants on attaining the age of superannuation, Government sometimes engages them to mitigate short-term manpower crisis. Due to delay in recruitment / need of experienced hands / any other reasons Government prefer to engage retired persons in certain cases. During their tenure of engagement as OSD, they are generally paid consolidated amount of remuneration per month. Besides the consolidated amount, they also receives their monthly pension from Government. But in case of All India Service Officers, they generally receives monthly remuneration of his last pay minus pension. Recently, the GAPG Department came with a fresh guidlines for engagement of retired person on temporary basis by repealing its earlier resolution No.23750 dated 28.08.2014.
