Restoration of Surrender Leave Benefit
The proposal for restoration of the scheme of surrender of earned leave in favour of State Government employees of regular establishments was under active consideration. The Governor has been pleased to decide to restore the facility.
Restored Rules:
- Employees with not less than 120 days of leave at their credit will be allowed to surrender 15 days Earned Leave for encashment.
- This facility is available once in a block period of 24 months.
- Effective Date: With effect from 14.94.
- The amount of leave salary drawn shall be credited to the General Provident Fund (GPF) account of the concerned employee.
