Eligibility Criteria

For All Posts (Jr. Clerk, Jr. Typist & Stenographer Gr-III)

  • Nationality: Citizen of India.
  • Educational Qualification: Passed at least +3 examination (or equivalent) from a recognized University.
  • Computer Diploma: Passed Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute. (BCA/MCA/B.Tech CS candidates exempted)
  • Age Limit: Above 18 years and below 42 years as on 03.08.2026. Relaxation for reserved categories as per Odisha District and Civil Courts' Judicial Staff Services Rules, 2008.
  • Odia Language: Must be able to speak, read and write Odia. Must have passed a test in Odia equivalent to M.E. Standard.
  • Character: Must be of good character.
  • Health: Must be of sound health and free from organic defects.
  • Marital Status: Must not have more than one spouse living.
  • Typing Speed (Jr. Typist): Minimum 40 words per minute in English typewriting.
  • Shorthand & Typing (Stenographer): Minimum 80 words per minute in shorthand and 40 words per minute in English typewriting.

Candidates in Government employment must submit No Objection Certificate at the time of application.
