Eligibility Criteria

Nationality / Citizenship

  • Citizen of India, OR subject of Nepal/Bhutan, OR Tibetan Refugee (before 01.01.1962), OR Person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries with intention of permanently settling in India.

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2026)

  • Minimum: 20 years (born not later than 01.07.2006).
  • Maximum: 30 years (born not earlier than 02.07.1996).
  • Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years, Ex-Servicemen – 5 years.

Educational Qualification (as on 21.07.2026)

  • Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification.
  • Final result must be declared on or before 21.07.2026.
  • Percentage calculation: Total marks obtained ÷ Aggregate maximum marks × 100.

Economically Weaker Section (EWS)

  • Gross annual income below ₹8.00 lakh for financial year 2025-26.
  • Family must not own assets like 5 acres agricultural land, 1000 sq.ft residential flat, 100 sq.yds residential plot in notified municipalities.
  • Certificate valid for the year 2026-27 (financial year 2025-26).

Application Fee & Intimation Charges

  • SC/ST/PwBD: ₹175/- (inclusive of GST)
  • All Others (UR/OBC/EWS): ₹850/- (inclusive of GST)
  • Payment Mode: Online only (Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, etc.)
  • Edit Window Fee: ₹200/- (for modifications after submission)

Bank Transaction charges for online payment will be borne by the candidate.

Penalty for Wrong Answers

  • Personality Test: Non-qualifying but mandatory (self-report).
  • Interview: 100 Marks. Minimum qualifying: 40% (UR/EWS), 35% (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
  • Final Selection Weightage: Main Exam (80%) + Interview (20%).

  • Live Photograph Capture: Candidates must capture and upload live photograph using webcam or mobile phone during registration.
  • No Edit After Submission: Once submitted, no changes allowed except during the Edit Window.
  • PwBD Scribe Facility: Available as per Government guidelines. Compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour.
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
  • Cut-offs: Minimum qualifying marks as decided by IBPS for each test and total.
