Special Category Reservation

Note: (a) In case of non-availability of women candidates, unfilled vacancies shall be filled by male candidates of same category. (b) Exchange of reservation between SC & ST will not be permissible. PwD candidates must have permanent disability of 40% or above with UDID card.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

• Must be a citizen of India.
• Must be of good character and sound health.
• If married, must not have more than one spouse living.
• Must be able to speak, read & write Odia (as per prescribed norms).

Educational Qualification

• Option A: Inter Chartered Accountants (CA) OR Inter Cost and Works Accountants (CMA).
• Option B: Commerce Graduates with Honours (with at least 50% marks) OR Distinction.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

• Minimum: 21 years
• Maximum: 42 years
• Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, Women – 5 years, PwD – 10 years (cumulative for SC/ST PwD), Ex-Servicemen – as per rules
• PwD candidates belonging to SC/ST are eligible for cumulative age relaxation of 10 years over and above the normal relaxation.

SEBC category vacancy is Nil, but SEBC candidates can apply against UR category.

Application Fee & Refund

• Application Fee: ₹500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for candidates other than SC/ST/PwD.
• SC/ST/PwD Candidates: Exempted from payment of examination fee.
• Refund: The examination fee of ₹500 shall be refunded to those candidates who actually appear for the examination.
• Payment Mode: Online only through payment gateway.
• Bank transaction charges (if any) shall be borne by the candidate.
