Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (as on 01.07.2026)

  • Production (CPCL01): 3 years Diploma in Chemical / Petroleum / Petrochemical Engineering OR B.Sc with Chemistry as major subject (60% for Gen/OBC/EWS, 55% for SC).
  • Mechanical (CPCL02): 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (60% for Gen/OBC/EWS, 55% for SC/PwBD).
  • Electrical (CPCL03): 3 years Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (60% for Gen/OBC/EWS, 55% for SC/PwBD).
  • Instrumentation (CPCL04): 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics (60% for Gen/OBC/EWS, 55% for SC/PwBD).

Experience (Mandatory – as on 01.07.2026)

  • Minimum 3 years relevant post-qualification work experience in Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical / Fertilizer / Power Plant / large industrial establishments.
  • Apprenticeship under Apprenticeship Act, 1961 shall be considered as work experience.

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2026)

  • Maximum: 30 years
  • Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwBD – 10/13/15 years, Ex-Servicemen – Service period + 3 years (max 50 years).
