Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Deputy Manager (Electrical): B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics with at least 60% marks.
• Deputy Manager (Mechanical): B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production with at least 60% marks.
• Deputy Manager (C&I): B.E./B.Tech in Electronics / Control & Instrumentation / Instrumentation with at least 60% marks.
• Qualifications must be full-time from recognized Universities/Institutions approved in India.

Experience (as on last date of application)

• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience (including training period) in the power sector (Coal, Gas, Lignite).
• Experience in Operation / Maintenance / Commissioning / Erection / Engineering / Energy Efficiency / Project Management / Field Quality or combination thereof.
• For Govt/PSU candidates: Minimum 02 years in pay scale ₹60,000-1,80,000 or above (E3 grade or above of NTPC).
• NOC from employer mandatory for Govt/PSU candidates.

Age Limit (as on last date of application)

• Maximum: 40 Years
• Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC-NCL – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years, Ex-Servicemen – as per Govt. guidelines.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting/Screening: Based on qualification, percentage of marks, and number of years of post-qualification experience.
• Written/Computer-Based Test: May be conducted if required to restrict the number of candidates.
• Personal Interview: Final selection based on performance.
• NTPC reserves the right to conduct multi-stage selection process.
• Mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility does not guarantee being called for test/interview.
