Application Fee

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹700/- (Refundable on appearing in Prelims)
• SC / ST / PwD: NIL
• Payment Mode: Online (Debit/Credit Card, UPI, Wallet)
• Refund will be processed to the original mode of payment after completion of Prelims.

Vacancy Details

PwD Reservation: 02 posts (Category-I: 01, Category-II: 01). Candidates with 40% or more permanent disability are eligible. PwD candidates will be adjusted against the categories to which they belong.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution OR
• Associated Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) of India in Civil Engineering.
• Degree certificate must be issued on or before the closing date (11.09.2026).

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

• Minimum: 21 years | Maximum: 42 years
• Born between: 2nd January 1984 and 1st January 2005 (both dates inclusive)
• Relaxation: SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Servicemen – 5 years, PwD – 10 years (15 years cumulative for PwD+SC/ST/SEBC).
• Candidates under multiple categories will get only one benefit – the most beneficial.

Odia Language Requirement

• Must be able to read, write and speak Odia.
• Must have passed Middle School/Odia as language subject in Class VII or above OR passed Odia M.E. Standard test.

Exam Pattern

Stage I: Preliminary Examination (Screening – 100 Marks)

Stage II: Main Examination (500 Marks)

Both Papers are Objective MCQs. Negative marking: 0.5 marks per wrong answer (25% of 2 marks).

Stage III: Interview (50 Marks)

• Shortlisting for Interview: 1:2 ratio (minimum 5 candidates per category).
• Final Merit: Based on Main Examination (500 Marks) + Interview (50 Marks) = 550 Marks.
• Tie-breaker: Higher marks in Main Examination, then older candidate placed higher.

• Odia Language: Must have passed Odia M.E. Standard or equivalent.
• NOC: Government employees must submit No Objection Certificate at Document Verification.
• SEBC Certificate: Must be issued not more than 3 years before the application date.
• PwD Certificate: Permanent Disability Certificate (40% or more) – Temporary disability certificates not accepted.
• Photo & Signature: Upload clear scanned images; otherwise application rejected.
• One Application: Only one application per candidate.
• Exam Centres: Kataka, Bhubaneswar, Baleshwar, Brahmapur, Sambalpur, Jayapur.
