Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized University.
  • 02 (two) years of experience as practising Advocate.
  • Certificate from respective District Judge in prescribed format (Annexure-B) and Certificate of Enrolment under Bar Council of India/State Bar Council required.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

  • Minimum: 21 years | Maximum: 42 years
  • Born between: 2nd January 1984 and 1st January 2005 (both dates inclusive)
  • Relaxation: SEBC/SC/ST/Women/Ex-Servicemen – 5 years, PwD – 10 years (cumulative 15 years for PwD+SC/ST/SEBC).
  • Candidates under multiple categories will get only one benefit – the most beneficial.

Odia Language Requirement

  • Must be able to speak, read & write Odia.
  • Must have passed Middle School standard language test in Odia OR Matriculation (Class-X) with Odia as a subject.
