Eligibility Criteria

Regular Candidates: All candidates registered under CHSE(O) in the year 2025 are eligible to appear at the Annual H.S. Examinations, 2027 as Regular candidates.
Ex-Regular Candidates: A candidate can fill up form as an Ex-Regular candidate if he/she registered under CHSE in the year 2024 or before AND failed in previous examination(s) OR has not filled up form for any Examination though sent up OR his/her result has been cancelled due to malpractice.
Compartmental Candidates: A candidate can fill up form as Compartmental if he/she secured an aggregate of 210 marks in Annual HS Exams 2025 OR 2026 AND failed in one or more papers OR his/her paper(s) cancelled due to malpractice in AHSE 2026/AHS (INSTANT) 2026 or AHSE 2025/AHS (INSTANT) 2025 AND is interested to fill up the failed subjects only.
Malpractice Candidates: Candidates whose results were declared as Paper Cancelled (PC) or Result Cancelled (RC) due to malpractice are also eligible to appear as Ex-Regular candidates by producing the mark sheet/M.P. notification of CHSE(O).

Documents to be Furnished at Form Fill-Up

Ex-Regular (Compartmental): Original and self-attested photo copy of Registration Card, Failed mark sheet to verify eligibility of compartmental case.
Ex-Regular (Registered up to 2024, appearing for all subjects): Original and self-attested photo copy of Registration Card, previous year's failed mark sheet & Admit Card.
Ex-Regular (Registered up to 2024, appearing first time in 2027): Original and self-attested photo copy of Registration Card/Duplicate Registration Card, two passport size photos, original and Xerox copy of 10th Board pass certificate and other documents as required by the H.S. School.

Important Points to Note

Online Only: Under no circumstances, off-line/manual form fill up will be entertained.
Portal: Form fill-up through e-Space site: https://portal.samsodisha.gov.in
No Date Extension: No extension of dates for form fill up will be made under any circumstances.
Holiday Shift: If the last date falls on Sunday or public holiday, the last date will be shifted to the next working day.
Subject Change: Subject change by Ex-Regular candidates is strictly prohibited. Subjects of the last examination will remain unchanged.
No Correction: No correction in student's database shall be entertained after form fill up.
Photo Requirement: Upload recent passport size coloured photograph. Old photographs will not be accepted.
Mandatory Info: Enter grades for Environmental Education, Yoga and Basic Computer Education. This is mandatory for each student.
Admit Card: Admit Cards will be available online through respective H.S. Schools on portal.samsodisha.gov.in.
Fee Discrepancy: If any H.S. School demands more fees than prescribed, report to the Controller of Examinations/Director, Higher Secondary Education in writing.

Admit Cards will be made available online through respective H.S. Schools on portal.samsodisha.gov.in. Principals will download, print, and distribute them to students.

What is the fee for Biology Practical?

For Biology paper, one has to pay ₹80/- towards practical fee as it has two components: Biology-I (Botany) and Biology-II (Zoology), at ₹40/- each.

Are there any fee exemptions?

Yes. Candidates with benchmark disabilities are eligible for fee waiver of: ₹200/- (Examination fees), ₹40/- per paper (Practical/Project/Internal Exam fees), and ₹100/- (Memorandum of marks).
