Application Fee

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹1000/- + GST (Application Fee including Service Charges)
• SC / ST / PwBD / Permanent Employees of UIIC: ₹250/- + GST (Service Charges only – Application Fee Nil)
• Payment Mode: Online (Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets)
• Fee once paid will not be refunded.

Vacancy Details

PwBD Horizontal Reservation: Generalist – VI (2), HI (2), OC (4), MD/ID (3) | Hindi Officer – VI (1). 4% horizontal reservation for PwBD as per RPWD Act 2016.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (as on 30.06.2026)

• Generalist: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University. Working knowledge of Computer is a must.
• Hindi Officer: Post Graduate in Hindi with English as a subject at Graduate level. Working knowledge of Computer is a must.
• Qualifications must be from a recognized University/Institute approved by UGC/AICTE.

Age Limit (as on 30.06.2026)

• Minimum: 21 years | Maximum: 30 years
• Born between: 30.06.1996 to 30.06.2005 (both dates inclusive)
• Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC (NCL) – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years, Ex-Servicemen – 5 years, Defence Personnel disabled in operation – 3 years, Widows/Divorced Women – 9 years, Existing UIIC/PSU Employees – 8 years.
• Maximum age with cumulative relaxation: 45 years.

Exam Pattern

Tier I: Preliminary Examination (Qualifying – 100 Marks)

Tier II: Main Examination – Generalist (250 Marks + 30 Marks Descriptive)

Tier II: Main Examination – Hindi Officer (200 Marks + 50 Marks Descriptive)

Final Selection

• Weightage: Main Examination (Tier II) + Interview = 75:25
• Interview: Candidates called up to 3 times the vacancies
• Prelims & Descriptive Marks: Not counted in final merit
• Tie-breaker: Older candidate placed higher

Important Instructions

• Application Mode: Online only at uiic.co.in
• One Discipline Only: Apply for either Generalist or Hindi Officer – not both.
• UIIC AO Employees: Serving Administrative Officers (Scale-I) in UIIC are NOT eligible.
• NOC: Government/PSU employees must produce NOC at interview.
• Biometric Verification: Will be conducted at various stages.
• Mobile Phones: Strictly prohibited in exam/interview hall.
• Posting: Anywhere in India at the discretion of the Company.
• Guarantee Bond: 5 years minimum service; penalty up to 1 year gross salary + ₹35,000.

PwBD & Scribe Guidelines

• Eligible PwBD categories: VI, HI, OC, MD/ID with 40% or more disability.
• Scribe Facility: Available for eligible candidates – must opt in online application.
• Compensatory Time: 20 minutes per hour for candidates using scribe.
• Scribe Qualification: One step below the candidate's qualification, from different academic stream.
• Less than 40% disability: Scribe facility with certificate of limitation to write from Government healthcare institution.
• Temporary Disability: "Likely to improve" conditions are not eligible for reservation.
