Modification of Pay Structure of Elementary Cadre Teachers & Officers

In supersession of previous resolutions, the Government have revised the pay structure of different grades in the Elementary Cadre as detailed below.
Revised Pay Structure of Elementary Cadre

Effective Date:
This modification will come into force with effect from the date of issue of this Notification (12.03.2024).

1. Which posts have received pay level upgradation?
Senior Teacher (Level-7 → Level-8), Headmaster Primary/Graduate Teacher (Level-8 → Level-9), Senior Headmaster/Headmaster Upper Primary (Level-9 → Level-10), ABE O (Level-9 → Level-10), and BEO (Level-10 → Level-11).
2. When does the revised pay structure come into effect?
The modification comes into force with effect from the date of issue of this Notification i.e. **12.03.2024**.
3. Has the pay level of Assistant Teacher changed?
No change – Assistant Teacher remains in Level-V(A) / Level-6.
4. Is this revision applicable to all Elementary Cadre officers?
Yes, it applies to all posts in the Elementary Cadre as per the revised structure.
