In continuation of earlier letter No.5833/F dated 07.03.2026, the Finance Department has revised the deadlines for presentation of bills/claims in Treasuries to avoid rush of expenditure at the fag end of FY 2025-26.
These revised deadlines are issued for administrative convenience and in response to requests from various quarters.
Revised Deadlines for Bill/Claim Submission in Treasuries

Important Instructions:
- All other guidelines issued vide Finance Dept Letter No.5833/F dated 07.03.2026 remain unchanged.
- Departments/DDOs must strictly adhere to these revised deadlines.
- Bills presented after revised dates will not be entertained except in exceptional cases with proper justification.
- Timely submission is critical to avoid lapse of funds and audit objections.
