Key Directives for Qualified Candidates

Provisional Candidature: The candidature of all qualified candidates is provisional. Candidates must complete the mandatory application process to proceed further.
Fee Submission: Submission of fee of Rs. 200 for admission into the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2026 is required. Female/PwBD/SC/ST candidates are exempted from fee payment.
Scribe & Assistive Device Details: Candidates requiring scribe facilities, assistive devices, or question papers in large font for the Main Examination must submit/update these details during the application window.
Cadre Preference: Filling up of Cadre Preference for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2026 is mandatory during this window.
Application Window: The window for filling up these details and submission will be available on the Commission's website from 19th to 28th June 2026.

Marks & Cut-Off Post Final Result: Marks, Cut-Off Marks and Answer Keys of CS (P) Examination, 2026 will be uploaded on https://upsc.gov.in only after the entire process is over, i.e., after declaration of final result.
