Administrative Control & Implementation

Administrative Control: All posts under Rent Office remain under administrative control of G.A. & P.G. Department.
Appointing / Disciplinary Authority: Director of Estates, G.A. & P.G. Department, functions as Appointing Authority, Disciplinary Authority & Pension Sanctioning Authority (vide G.A. Dept Resolution No. 5283 dt. 06.03.1982).
Recruitment Rules: Existing "Odisha Heads of Department (Method of Recruitment & Conditions of Service) Rules, 2019" and Common Cadre Rules, 2019 shall be followed till determination of status of Rent Office.
ORV Act: Principles of ORV Act in entry grade and promotional level shall be as per existing Rules.
Effective Date: This Resolution comes into effect from the date of issue (11.06.2024).
