To ensure students do not face any trouble in admission due to delay in certificate issuance, strict guidelines have been issued for speedy processing of Residential, Income and Caste Certificates through e-District portal.

Key Guidelines Issued

1. Immediate Action

All applications received through e-District portal (edistrict.odisha.gov.in) shall be processed immediately.

2. Residential & Income Certificates

Since applicants give undertaking, these certificates should be issued early.

3. Caste Certificate Enquiry

Enquiry related to caste certificate should be completed at the earliest.

4. Time Limit for Enquiry

Enquiry at Revenue Inspector(RI) level should not exceed 3 days.

5. Use of Digital Records

As far as possible, certificates should be issued on the basis of available government records and digital data.
