Subject: Sanction of Dearness Relief (T.I) @ 2% enhancing the existing rate from 58% to 60% in favour of the State Government pensioners/ family pensioners.

📘 Key Highlights of the Order

  • Rate Enhancement: Dearness Relief is increased by 2% over the existing rate, raising it from 58% to 60% of basic pension.
  • Effective Date: This increase is applicable with effect from 01st January 2026.
  • Beneficiaries: The order applies to all State Government pensioners, family pensioners, and those receiving provisional pension.
  • Aided Institutions: Pensioners/family pensioners of Non-Government Aided Educational Institutions (School & Mass Education & Higher Education) are also covered.
  • Additional Pension: The hike is admissible on the "Additional Basic Pension" granted to old-age pensioners (80+ years etc.) as per previous orders.
  • Rounding Off: Any fraction of a rupee calculated as DR shall be rounded off to the next higher rupee.
