Odisha Bus Fare Increased from 15 May 2026

Office of the Transport Commissioner-cum-Chairman, State Transport Authority, Odisha, Cuttack

Order No: 7138/TC/Tech | Dated: 15.05.2026

Due to the increase in diesel price, bus fares for stage carriages (other than town buses) have been revised. The new fares are effective from 15.05.2026.

New Bus Fares (Effective 15 May 2026)

Ordinary Bus

Revised Fare: 90 Paise per km
Previous: 88 Paise per km

Express Bus

Revised Fare: 94 Paise per km
Previous: 92 Paise per km

Deluxe Bus

Revised Fare: 131 Paise per km
Previous: 127 Paise per km

A.C. Deluxe Bus

Revised Fare: 159 Paise per km
Previous: 155 Paise per km

Super Deluxe Bus

Revised Fare: 247 Paise per km
Previous: 241 Paise per km

All other conditions mentioned in previous Transport Department Notifications dated 08.02.2021 and 04.06.2015 shall remain the same.

New fares are effective from 15th May 2026.

2. How much has the fare increased?

Fare increased by 2 Paise per km for Ordinary & Express buses and 4 Paise per km for Deluxe, AC Deluxe & Super Deluxe buses.

3. Does this apply to town buses?

No. This revision is only for stage carriages other than town buses.
