Subject: CIRCULAR – In view of the prevailing unforeseen situation arising due to excessive power demand and the need to ensure uninterrupted operational readiness.

⚠️ Emergency Directives & Restrictions

  • Restricted Movement: No employee shall leave his/her headquarters without prior approval from the competent authority until further orders.
  • Cancellation of Leave: All kinds of sanctioned leave are hereby cancelled with immediate effect.
    • Exceptions: Maternity leave and leave granted on medical grounds are excluded from this cancellation.
  • Recall to Duty: Employees currently on leave are advised to report back to duty at the earliest.
  • Events Cancelled: All scheduled meetings, conferences, seminars, training programmes, official tours, inspections, and other engagements requiring employees to leave headquarters are hereby postponed/cancelled.
  • Separate Approval Required: Separate approval must be obtained for any training or travel during this period.

Context: These measures have been taken to ensure adequate manpower availability and effective coordination during the period of excessive power demand.
