Category-wise Vacancy Position
Total: 48 Vacancies. Includes backlog vacancies. Women/PwD/Ex-Servicemen/Sports Persons reservation as per rules. PwD candidates shall be adjusted against the category to which they belong. Vacancies may increase or decrease.
Eligibility Criteria
For Junior Clerk & Copyist, Stenographer Gr-III & Junior Typist
- Nationality: Citizen of India.
- Educational Qualification: Passed at least +3 examination (or equivalent) from a recognized University.
- Computer Diploma: Passed at least Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute.
- Age Limit: Above 18 years and below 42 years as on last date of receipt of applications (07.08.2026). Relaxation for reserved categories as per rules.
- Odia Language: Must be able to speak, read and write Odia. Must have passed a test in Odia equivalent to M.E. Standard.
- Character: Must be of good character.
- Health: Must be of sound health and free from organic defects.
- Marital Status: Must not have more than one spouse living.
- No Criminal Proceeding: Shall have no criminal proceeding pending.
- Typing Speed (Stenographer): Minimum 80 wpm in Shorthand and 40 wpm in Typewriting through Computer System.
- Typing Speed (Junior Typist): Minimum 40 wpm in Typewriting through Computer System.
Candidates in Government service must apply through proper channel with NOC.

I. English
- Essay Writing

Standard: +3 level.
II. Arithmetic
- Vulgar fractions and decimals, HCF and LCM
- Simple and Compound Interest
- Percentages, Profit & Loss, Mixtures, Partnership, Average
- Rates and Taxes, Insurance
- Square and Cubic Measures
- Problems on Time & Work and Time & Distance
III. General Knowledge
- Knowledge of current events
- Everyday observations and experience as expected from an educated person
IV. Computer Science Test (Practical)
- Text formatting of paragraphs
- Insertion of tables
- Skill to print and save
- File transfer
- Website searching/browsing and downloading
- E-mail usage
- Use of pen drive and other software
- Programmes of accounting
Shortlisting Criteria
- Career merit lists prepared based on total percentage of marks in HSC, +2 & +3 examinations.
- Candidates up to 20 times of actual vacancy in each category shall be called for written test.
- Based on written test marks, candidates up to 10 times of vacancy in each category shall be called for practical tests.

- Self-attested Caste Certificate (SC/ST/SEBC) – by birth only
- Self-attested Disability Certificate (PwD)
- Self-attested Discharge Certificate (Ex-Servicemen) with affidavit
- Self-attested Sports Identity Card (if applicable)
- Two Original Character Certificates from Gazetted Officers/Medical Practitioners/Sarpanch
- Two Self-addressed Envelopes with ₹60 postal stamp each
- Self-attested Employment Exchange Registration Card
- Marital Status Declaration (if married – one spouse living)
- No Objection Certificate (for Government employees – through proper channel)
- CGPA Conversion Certificate (if applicable)
- Self Declaration that no criminal proceeding pending
- Self-Declaration for Authentication of Certificate (Annexure-I)

All documents must be self-attested with full signature. Originals required at Viva-Voce stage. Unsigned applications will be rejected.
