Eligibility Criteria
- Permanent Resident: To enroll into the MRF programme, the candidate must be a permanent resident of Odisha.
- Ph.D. Registration Period: The candidate must have registered in between 01.04.2024 to 19.07.2026 under an approved research guide (Refer 4.1.2 of the revised guidelines).
- Not Eligible: Research scholars selected in MRIP-2025 to receive fellowship and not registered in SAMS are not eligible to apply again.

Important Points to Note
- Online Application Only: All applications must be submitted online through the SAMS portal. No offline applications will be accepted.
- CAF Editing Window: Candidates who have submitted their CAF can edit it on 31 July 2026 between 11:00 AM and 11:45 PM. New CAF submission is not allowed on this day.
- Document Verification: Eligible applicants will be called for document verification at OSHEC. The date will be notified later on the SAMS portal.
- Permanent Residency: Only permanent residents of Odisha are eligible to apply for this fellowship.
- Research Guide: Candidates must have registered under an approved research guide as per the revised guidelines (Refer 4.1.2).
