Final Cut-off: No remarks may be recorded after 31st December, 2026 in the PAR of AIS officers for the PAR year 2025-26, in accordance with the 2nd proviso of Rule 5(1) of AIS (PAR) Rules, 2007.
Key Provisions of the Order
- DoPT Order: The Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Government of India, has decided with the approval of the Competent Authority to further extend the timelines for recording PAR for the year 2025-26.
- Legal Authority: The extension is granted in relaxation of Rule 5(1) read with Schedule 2 of AIS (PAR) Rules, 2007 and 7A.
- One-time Measure: The aforesaid relaxation is accorded as a one-time measure only.
- Final Cut-off: Notwithstanding anything contained herein, no remarks may be recorded after 31st December, 2026 in the PAR of AIS officers for the PAR year 2025-26, in accordance with the 2nd proviso of Rule 5(1) of AIS (PAR) Rules, 2007.
- State Government Circulation: Odisha G.A. Department has issued a memo forwarding the DoPT order to all RDCs, Collectors and District Magistrates with a request to bring it to the notice of all concerned under their administrative control.
- HRMS System: The e-PAR system may be kept open strictly as per the revised datelines. The revised timelines have been uploaded to the HRMS home page for wide publicity.
- Server Traffic: Concerned officers are advised not to wait till the fag end of the closing date and process their PARs sufficiently ahead of the deadline to avoid traffic congestion on the server.
- Applicability: The order applies to AIS (IAS/IPS/IFS) officers for recording of PARs for the year 2025-26.
Important Points to Note
- Timely Submission: Officers are requested to submit their self-appraisal reports online through HRMS and record remarks on PARs of subordinate officers within the revised deadlines.
- Avoid Last Minute: Concerned officers are advised not to wait till the fag end of the closing date and process their PARs sufficiently ahead of the deadline to avoid server traffic congestion.
- One-time Relaxation: This extension is a one-time measure and should not be treated as a precedent for future years.
- Wide Circulation: The revised datelines have been uploaded to the HRMS home page for wide publicity among all concerned officers.
- State Level Circulation: The Odisha G.A. Department has forwarded the order to all RDCs, Collectors and District Magistrates for bringing it to the notice of all concerned under their administrative control.
