Special Instructions for PwD Candidates
- Separate Examination: Candidates provisionally selected under the "PwD" Category are required to present themselves before the Medical Superintendent / Registrar (Administration), S.C.B Medical College & Hospital, Cuttack for their Medical Examination by the Specialized Disability Medical Board.
- Required Document: PwD candidates must carry the disability certificate issued by a competent authority.
Documents Required for Medical Examination
All Candidates reporting at the Medical Colleges are required to mandatorily carry the following documents for identification:
- Copy of the Admit card (Prelims / Mains) / Personality test Call letter / any communication received from the OPSC reflecting their selection through OCS Examination-2024.
- Any Original Government Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, etc.)
- Disability Certificate issued by a competent authority (for PwD candidates only).
Key Provisions of the Notice
- Mandatory Medical Examination: All candidates (except PwD category) provisionally selected through OCS-2024 must present themselves for mandatory Medical / Physical fitness examination at any of the 7 Government Medical Colleges between 8 A.M. to 12 P.M. on any day(s) from 15.07.2026 to 21.07.2026 without fail.
- PwD Candidates: Candidates under PwD Category must report to S.C.B Medical College & Hospital, Cuttack for examination by the Specialized Disability Medical Board.
- Incomplete Examination: Leaving the medical examination incomplete would render the candidate liable for cancellation of his/her candidature.
- Copy of Observation: Candidates should leave the medical examination only after obtaining a copy of the observation / recommendation of the Medical Board and keep it as proof of completing the medical test.
- Appeal Process: In case of dissatisfaction / disagreement with the medical report, candidates may prefer an appeal to the Director of Medical Education & Training, Odisha (Chairman, Appellate Medical Board) within 7 (seven) working days from the date of communication of the decision.
- Appeal Format: Appeal must be submitted in the appropriate format as at Annexure A, under intimation to the GA & PG Department.
- Appellate Medical Board: The Medical Examination by the Appellate Medical Board will be arranged at Bhubaneswar only. No TA/DA will be admissible. No fee will be charged for filing an appeal.
- Final Decision: No appeal would lie against the Appellate Medical Board as a matter of right. The decision of the Appellate Medical Board shall override any other decision passed earlier.
