In continuation of earlier instructions to prevent rush of expenditure at the fag end of FY 2025-26 (Letters No.5833/F dt.07.03.2026 and No.7697/F dt.23.03.2026), the Finance Department has made special arrangements in all Treasuries during the last week of March 2026.
Special Arrangements for Last Week of March 2026
- Treasuries Open on Holidays: All Treasuries shall remain open on **28th March 2026** and **29th March 2026** (which are public holidays).
- IFMS Help Desk Support: Extended support from **09:00 AM to 08:00 PM** on all working days in the last week of March 2026 (including the specially declared working days).

Important Instructions:
- All concerned Departments/DDOs are requested to submit bills/claims accordingly and take full advantage of these extended facilities.
- Ensure timely processing of government claims and accounting of receipts/taxes/dues before 31 March 2026.
- DDOs should coordinate with Treasuries and utilize the extended IFMS support to clear pending bills smoothly.
