Notification Details

Subject: Incentive to Dental Surgeons of OMS(Dental) Cadre with Post-Graduation qualification.
Background: The proposal to provide incentives to the Dental Surgeons of OMS(Dental) Cadre of Health and Family Welfare Department with Post-graduation qualification was under active consideration of the Government.
Decision: After careful consideration of all aspects, Government have been pleased to allow Incentive of Rs. 20,000/- P.M. to Dental Surgeons of OMS(Dental) Cadre working under Health and Family Welfare Department with Post-Graduation qualification from Medical Colleges recognized by NMC (National Medical Commission).
Effective Date: The above incentive is effective from the date of issue of the Notification (27.08.2026).
Finance Department Concurrence: This has been concurred in by the Finance Department vide their OSWAS file No. FIN-052-ALW-0009-2026 & FIN-SOS3-ESTT-0015-2018.
