Land demarcation is the process of physically identifying and marking the boundaries of a land parcel. In Odisha, private individuals can apply for demarcation of their land through the Odisha Revenue Services portal. This service is essential for:

How to Apply Online for Land Demarcation
Follow these steps to apply for land demarcation as a private individual:
Step 1: Visit the Odisha Revenue Services Portal
Open your web browser and go to:
https://odisharevenueservices.nic.in
Click on the link "Land Record Services".
Access Land Record Services
On the homepage, click on "Land Record Services". Then click on the link "odisharevenueservices.nic.in" to proceed.
Select Demarcation Service
Click on "Apply for Demarcation (For Private Individual)". Enter your Name and Mobile Number for mobile validation.
Fill Applicant Details
Fill in the applicant details: Name, Father's/Husband's Name, and Address. Provide a valid PIN and correct mobile number (SMS updates will be sent to this number).
Provide Land Details
Enter the details of the land for demarcation: Tahasil Name, Village Name, Khata No., and Plot No.
Note: You can apply for only one plot at a time.
Upload Documents
Upload the desired documents: Sketch Map of the plot(s) and layout plan, if applicable.
Submit Application
Click on the "Submit" button. You will receive an Application Number – keep this for future correspondence with the Tahasil.
Make Payment
Check the amount (₹800 per plot) and click "Make Payment". You can pay using:

- Debit Card / Credit Card

Important: Ensure you have your payment credentials ready. If you start payment but don't complete it, you will not be able to make payment for the next 48 hours or until receipt of status from treasury.
Complete Payment on Treasury Portal
You will be redirected to the Treasury portal. Follow the instructions on screen and complete the payment. Once payment is successful, you will get an Acknowledgement-cum-Payment Receipt.
Note: If you do not get the receipt even after amount deduction, check your payment status using your Transaction Id and generate the receipt.
Treasury Challan Reference Number: Note this number for future reference.
Wait for Receipt Generation & Book Slot
Important: Do not click on "Download Challan" or "Return to Department". The portal will automatically generate the payment receipt. You will be able to book a slot only after the payment receipt is generated by the system. Book the available slot as per your convenience.
Application Processing
Your application will be visible to the respective Tahasildar for processing. Do not approach the Tahasil without the payment receipt.
