All Additional District Magistrates (ADMs) are directed to publish and display the enclosed **Public Notice** (in English & Odia) on notice boards of Collector & DM offices, Municipal Corporations, Sub-Collectors, Tahsildars, BDOs, Executive Officers, District Sub-Registrars, Sub-Registrars, and Revenue Inspectors.
Purpose: Inform office bearers of registered societies to renew their registration before expiry of validity period.

- Validity Period:
- Societies registered **after 21 May 2021** → valid for **5 years** from date of registration certificate.
- Societies registered **on or before 21 May 2021** → valid till **20 May 2026** (5 years under amended Act).
- Office bearers/authorized officials must take steps for renewal following due procedure.

- Latest Certified Copy (C.C.) of the Registration Certificate
- Latest Certified Copy (C.C.) of the Memorandum of Association
- Latest Certified Copy (C.C.) of the Bye-laws
- Audit Reports of the last five years
- Activity Reports of the last five years
- Resolution of the General Body regarding renewal of the society
Important Advice for Societies & Office Bearers:
- Renew **before expiry** to pay only ₹500 and avoid late fees.
- Late renewal up to 6 months allowed with increasing penalty (up to ₹3,500).
- Display & publicize the notice widely in your jurisdiction (Collector offices, Tehsils, Blocks, Sub-Registrar offices, etc.).
- Non-renewal after validity may lead to legal complications / loss of registration status.
- Act promptly – validity for pre-2021 societies ends **20 May 2026**.
