The Government of Odisha has approved the restructuring of the Odisha Secretariat Service (OSS) cadre for smooth and efficient functioning of different Departments.
The Cabinet in its meeting held on 30th September 2022 approved the proposal for creation of 120 Group-A posts in OSS cadre in lieu of abolition of 94 posts of Assistant Section Officer.
After this restructuring, the revised cadre strength of Odisha Secretariat Service is 3037 posts.
