Odisha Government Invites Applications for Recognition of Tribal Talents

The Government of Odisha has invited applications from talented individuals belonging to the tribal communities for recognition and awards in various fields of excellence. The initiative aims to identify and honour outstanding contributions by members of Scheduled Tribes in areas such as Dance, Music, Literature, Painting, Art & Craft, Social Service, Traditional Medicine, Sports & Games and other cultural and social domains.

According to an official notification, interested individuals or sponsoring organizations can submit their applications to the academy of tribal language and culture by November 30, 2025.

The recognition programme seeks to promote and preserve the rich cultural heritage, indigenous art forms, and traditional knowledge systems of the tribal communities while encouraging young talents to continue their creative and social pursuits.

Selected candidates will be felicitated by the State Government for their exemplary achievements and dedication toward enriching tribal culture and community welfare.

Applicants are required to submit detailed documentation of their contributions in their respective fields along with necessary testimonials and endorsements.
