Key Provisions of the Circular

One More Chance: The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha is offering one more chance to all schools for correcting their data which they have uploaded during enrolment of candidates in Class-IX during 2025 (for HSC Examination 2027).
Online Correction: Most of the data can be corrected online by the Head of the Institutions who are the login authorities. The link will be made available on the website www.bseodisha.ac.in from 17/07/2026 till midnight of 31/07/2026.
Login Credentials: Heads of Institutions can log in to the enrolled data with the User ID (school code) and password which they have last used.
Editable Fields – School Profile:
– School Mail ID, Phone No., Mob. No.
– Name of the Head of the Institution
– Uploading of signature of Head of the Institution
– Other school profile information (with supporting documents)
Editable Fields – Student Data:
– Date of Birth (must match Admission Register & Cancelled TC; changes require DEO countersignature)
– Student photograph (only if missing; existing photograph cannot be replaced)
Note: Name of the student cannot be edited online.
Non-Editable Fields (Offline Only): Certain corrections cannot be done online. Schools must approach the BSE Head Office, Cuttack or respective zonal offices with genuine documents between 17/07/2026 to 31/07/2026.
Omission of Student: In case of omission of a student from enrolled data 2025, the Head of Institution has to enroll the data of the student with a fine of ₹500/- to be deposited at the Head Office, BSE, Odisha, Cuttack with all requisite documents.
Deadline: Corrections (either offline or online) must be completed by 31/07/2026. No further extension of time shall be allowed.

Important Points to Note

Strict Deadline: All corrections (online & offline) must be completed by 31st July 2026. No extension will be granted.
Responsibility: Heads of Institutions shall be held solely responsible for entry of any incorrect data if detected.
Date of Birth: Must match the Admission Register and Cancelled TC. Any correction must be reflected in the Admission Register with countersignature of the concerned DEO.
Student Name: Cannot be edited online. For any name correction, schools must visit BSE Head Office or zonal office with supporting documents.
Photograph: Existing photograph cannot be replaced. Only missing photographs can be uploaded.
Omission Fee: ₹500 per student to be deposited at Head Office, BSE, Cuttack.

What is the fine for omission of a student?

In case of omission of a student from enrolled data 2025, the Head of Institution has to enroll the data of the student with a fine of ₹500/- to be deposited at the Head Office, BSE, Odisha, Cuttack with all requisite documents.

Is there any extension beyond 31st July 2026?

No. Corrections must be completed by 31st July 2026. No further extension of time shall be allowed.

What is the responsibility of the Head of Institution regarding data correctness?

The Heads of Institutions shall be held solely responsible for entry of any incorrect data if detected. They must be very careful, especially while changing the date of birth of the candidate.

Can the student photograph be replaced?

No. The existing photograph cannot be replaced. Only if the photograph is missing, it can be uploaded.
