Subject: Guidelines on Subscriber Onboarding in NPS and Revised Subscriber Registration Form (SRF)

• New SRF Format: Updated form includes Aadhaar-based authentication, nominee details, and sector codes.
• Digital Onboarding: CRA and nodal offices must ensure paperless registration through integrated portals.
• Mandatory Fields: Subscriber photo, mobile number, email ID, and bank details are now compulsory.
• Applicability: All government and corporate sector subscribers joining NPS from November 2025 onward.
• Official Circular: Contains annexures, form samples, and CRA implementation timelines.

Departments and DDOs must circulate this circular to all registration points and ensure compliance with revised onboarding protocols. Subscribers are advised to use the updated SRF format for any new NPS enrollment.
