Ban on Creation of Social Media Reels & Videos in Lok Seva Bhawan

The Home Department, Government of Odisha has issued an office order strictly prohibiting the creation, recording, or uploading of social media reels, videos, or photographs within the premises of Lok Seva Bhawan, Rajiv Bhawan, and Kharavel Bhawan.

The order has been issued after it was noticed that some employees and other persons were creating social media content inside the premises, which is inappropriate for such high-security and sensitive government establishments.

Lok Seva Bhawan, Rajiv Bhawan, and Kharavel Bhawan are declared as high-security and sensitive government premises.

The Home Department has stated that such acts affect the decorum, discipline, and dignity of the Government and may also adversely impact public confidence.

⚠️ Any violation of this order shall attract disciplinary and administrative action as per applicable rules.

The prohibition applies to employees, officials, contractual staff, visitors, and all other persons.
