The Home Department, Government of Odisha has issued an office order strictly prohibiting the creation, recording, or uploading of social media reels, videos, or photographs within the premises of Lok Seva Bhawan, Rajiv Bhawan, and Kharavel Bhawan.

The order has been issued after it was noticed that some employees and other persons were creating social media content inside the premises, which is inappropriate for such high-security and sensitive government establishments.

The Home Department has stated that such acts affect the decorum, discipline, and dignity of the Government and may also adversely impact public confidence.

The prohibition applies to employees, officials, contractual staff, visitors, and all other persons.
