Standing Permission / NOC for GA&PG Department Employees

The General Administration & Public Grievance Department has issued a Standing Order granting permanent permission / No Objection Certificate (NOC) in favour of all officers and employees working under its administrative control for appearing in various recruitment examinations or for applying for jobs elsewhere.
The decision has been taken as a large number of applications were being received throughout the year for issue of individual NOCs, causing administrative delays and inconvenience to employees.
Conditions Attached to Standing Permission / NOC
- The employee shall not neglect official duties or responsibilities for appearing in any examination or applying for any job.
- Prior permission of the Competent Authority for leave and Headquarters leaving permission must be obtained, wherever required, by producing admit card or equivalent documents.
- This standing permission shall not be treated as automatic permission to relieve the employee from service.
- In case of selection, the employee must seek approval of GA&PG Department through proper channel for being relieved.
