Public Notice on Change of Name of Places in Odisha

The Government of Odisha proposes to effect changes in the names of certain places within the State with a view to restoring their original Odia names and ensuring correct reflection of the State’s linguistic, historical and cultural heritage in official records.
Details of the places proposed for renaming are enclosed in Annexure-A.
All stakeholders likely to be affected may submit objections or suggestions
within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice.
⚠️ Objections or suggestions received after the stipulated period shall not be entertained.
If no objection is received, it shall be presumed that there is no objection from the public.
