Khordha Schools Closed 20-23 April 2026 Due to Severe Heatwave

All schools in Khordha district will remain closed for students only from 20th April 2026 to 23rd April 2026 due to severe heatwave conditions.
Main Instructions
School Closure
All Government, Government Aided and Privately Managed Schools (Sishu Vatika to Class-XII) shall remain closed for students from 20.04.2026 to 23.04.2026.
Supplementary Exams
Supplementary Examinations for Class-V & Class-VIII will be conducted strictly as per the schedule issued by OSEPA.
Safety Arrangements
Head of Institutions must ensure adequate drinking water, ORS, first-aid and proper ventilation for examinees.
Staff Attendance
Teaching and non-teaching staff shall attend school as usual. Admissions, administrative work and census duty will continue normally.
This order is issued in the interest of student safety and must be complied with strictly.
